Adi Kotecha
Hello, my name is Adi. Welcome to my home on the Internet.
Some things about me:
- I grew up in the Bay Area, and currently live in Brooklyn, NY.
- My favorite things to do are play tennis, go on long runs, practice yoga / meditation, dance to live music, and spend time with loved ones.
- I like to read and write. You can find a collection of my book reviews
here,
and I occasionally write blog posts on
Substack.
- I am the head of finance at
Posh. We're building human connection through events.
- I also angel invest through Fog Ventures.
A few lists:
- Favorite authors: Ursula Le Guin, Haruki Murakami, Ted Chiang, Khaled Hosseini, David Foster Wallace, Elif Shafak, Sally Rooney.
- A collection of short-form content I've bookmarked can be found
here.
- Places on my travel bucket list: Patagonia, New Zealand, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
What I believe:
- The mind is an excellent servant, but a terrible master; attempting to develop mastery over mind is a worthy goal.
- The man in the arena is worth 1,000× more than the critic.
- Love in the heart of man is a shrine to God on Earth.
- Reward is amplified by effort.
- Prioritize process over outcome: hedonic adaptation makes outcome-chasing have terrible returns.
